In other news, UK channel CBS Action is now reshowing The District in which Jean appears as Sherry Regan weekdays at 2.00pm, 6.00pm and 10.00pm (Sky 148 of Freestat 137).
Jean’s next episode “A Southern Town” should air Monday 13th September.

I’m the one who can’t program much in terms of html but who is responsible for the header at the top of this page and the one at the gallery.
As some of you may or may not know, next month this site celebrates being open for one year and with that in mind both Valerie and I thought it was time for a makeover for the main page header. And that’s were those of you who visit and make use of this site come in – we thought it would be a great idea for you all to have your say in what pictures and images you’d like to see used in the next header. Feel free to peruse the gallery for images and make suggestions either in a comment to this post or by contacting me by email at: tess@jsdaily.net
I will try my best to come up with something based on what is suggested.

Yay! Tess and I had been planning on how best to do this ever since we opened, and we’ve finally found a solution to combating spam accounts as well as prevent images being stolen for other resources.

We are very pleased to announce that you no longer need an account to view the gallery at Jean Smart Daily! All you have to do is hit “Gallery” and browse to your heart’s content!

As of now there are still some restrictions in regard to size of the photos viewable to guests. The guest gallery is meant to be more for eye-candy and not so much for borrowing images for use in graphics, and so on. To gain access to the full-sized images, we encourage you to register for an account. :)

Please note that we still do not tolerate image theft — screencaps are done by Tess and myself, and some images were paid for by Tess so they are not to be removed. :) Thanks!

Just wanted to let everyone know that comments have been reenabled at the gallery. :) We disabled them a while ago as we had a member making innappropriate comments and we needed to deal with that. So feel free to comment on your fave Jean pictures in the gallery, and you can VOTE on them too! You will see clusters of stars below each image and you can use those to rank your favorites. :)

We’ve also made some changes to the security at the gallery so you guys don’t need to worry about spammers registering anymore. Hooray!

One of the big dreams we have for the future of JSDaily is that someday the POTW will be more automated, and we’ll be able to have a gallery of archived POTW photos so everyone can see! We have done over 50 of them now — can you believe it?!

Cherish and Claudia, you two need to reregister and we’ll add you back to the list. :D

We’re going to try and install a script to show some random Jean pictures from the gallery here on the main page, which I think will be pretty cool! So stay tuned for that, and fingers crossed that I don’t blow everything up!

Lastly, there will be a HUGE gallery update tonight with over 60 super-high-resolution images from various appearances Jean has made over the past few years. There are some gorgeous pictures we’re hoping will be new to you all, so we’re really excited about this update. :)
