The case brings Harry into a fierce rematch with D.A. Roseanna Remmick (Jean Smart) who is back with a vengeance and determined to outdo Harry and put Puck in prison. Elsewhere, Tommy (Christopher McDonald) ropes Cassie (Karen Olivo) into an ethically questionable divorce proceeding involving his oldest clients. Mark Valley also stars.

Streep and actress Jean Smart were portraying two employees at the women’s clothing store, at the Milford Marketplace on the Boston Post Road. The complex includes a Whole Foods grocery store. Streep shot her scenes Monday, and was off to Guilford on Tuesday, and other parts of the state to continue shooting. The business closed Monday to allow filming.

“The customers coming into the Milford store were so excited to learn a major motion picture was being shot in Milford,” said Laurie Denton, Coldwater Creek’s regional vice president in the Northeast.

Denton said the production agency scouted several area businesses, but inevitably felt “our brand” best represented Streep’s character.

“We were just thrilled that they picked us,” Denton said. “It’s wonderful to see our store turned into a major motion picture set.”

In the scenes shot in Milford, Smart and Streep are two employees talking as friends.
